4 P's (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program)

         The 4 P’s or also known as Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, it is one of the government programs of President Benigno Aquino III. The ultimate goals of this program are to achieve universal primary education and reduce child mortality. This program is to help the poor people under the care of the Department of Social Welfare Development. People in this society who are recognized as a member of poor peace will undergo family background check or what they called “Proxy Means Test”. The applicants were not able to raise their families in terms of financial support, and children under age 14 are qualified to avail this program. They could not send their children to go to school because they don’t have enough money to support for children’s education even their daily needs. Indeed, pregnant woman benefits this program by attending every pre and post-natal in order to monitor the developmental of the fetus and improve maternal health. Qualified parents to avail this 4 P’s programs will receive funds from the national down to local  government.
